This has contributed to cost saving in energy-related expenses and reduction of GHG emissions from electricity generation. Installation of Gas Turbine Generator and Heat Recovery Steam Generator at Utilities Plant โครงการ ติดตั้ง Gas Turbine Generator และ Heat Recovery Steam Generator ที่ Utilities Plant บริษัทฯ ศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการเพิ่มก� ำลังการผลิตไอน�้ ำ จากความร้อนที่เหลือทิ้งจากกระบวนการผลิต Hydro Wax ซึ่งพบว่ าความร้อนเหลือทิ้งดังกล่าวมีปริมาณเพียงพอ ต่อการเพิ่มก� ำลังการผลิตไอน�้ ำ และอุปกรณ์ภายในโรงงาน สามารถรองรับไอน�้ ำที่ผลิตเพิ่มได้ อีกทั้งโครงการนี้ ยังประเมินปริมาณพลังงานไอน�้ ำที่อาจผลิตได้ล่วงหน้า จึงวางแผนการขยายก� ำลังการผลิตไอน�้ ำให้สอดรับกับปริมาณ พลังงานที่ผลิตได้ในอนาคต ซึ่งช่วยลดอัตราการใช้เชื้อเพลิง ในการผลิตไอน�้ ำ ส่งผลให้ประหยัดค่าใช้จ่ายและลดการปล่อย ก๊าซเรือนกระจก GC has performed a feasibility study of raising steam capacity by recovering heat waste from the Hydro Wax production. The feasibility result indicated that amount of waste heat is sufficiently high enough to increase the steam capacity. Furthermore, the process equipment in factory is currently able to support the upsized capacity. On top of that, GC has forecasted energy potentials of the steam production in the future, and planned to expand the production capacity to match with the upcoming potentials of the steam. As a result, the project has reduced the use of fossil fuel in the steam generation, contributing to the reduction of both the operating cost and GHG emissions.
