The project helps to reduce the company’s waste disposal burden. In 2021, the Green Turnaround has been executed on the premises of PTT Phenol Company Limited (PPCL) whereby guidelines were set to reduce waste at sources, such as replacing waste containers with turnover containers and adjusting guidelines for treating highly concentrated wastewater from equipment cleaning at the wastewater treatment system instead of disposal. This has contributed to the reduction of waste and wastewater for disposal by 4,410 tons or equivalent to a reduction in waste disposal cost of 14.6 million baht. บริษัทฯ ต่อยอดการด� ำเนินโครงการซ่อมบ� ำรุงรักษาที่เป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อม มาอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยมุ่งเน้นการใช้ทรัพยากรและพลังงานอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ลดการเกิดของเสียทั้งประเภทของเสียอันตรายและไม่อันตราย ที่เกิดจากกิจกรรม การซ่อมบ� ำรุงตั้งแต่การลดจากแหล่งก� ำเนิด และการน� ำของเสียไปใช้ประโยชน์ อีกทั้งยังช่วยลดภาระจากการก� ำจัดของเสีย โดยในปี 2564 บริษัทฯ ได้ด� ำเนิน โครงการซ่อมบ� ำรุงที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมในพื้นที่บริษัท พีทีที ฟีนอล จ� ำกัด (PPCL) โดยก� ำหนดแนวทางลดของเสียตั้งแต่แหล่งก� ำเนิด ได้แก่ ปรับเปลี่ยนภาชนะ ที่ใช้รองรับของเสียเป็นภาชนะหมุนเวียน และปรับแนวทางการจัดการน�้ ำเสีย ความเข้มข้นสูงจากการล้างอุปกรณ์โดยการบ� ำบัดที่ระบบบ� ำบัดน�้ ำเสียทดแทน การส่งก� ำจัด ซึ่งส่งผลให้บริษัทฯ สามารถลดปริมาณของเสีย และน�้ ำเสียส่งก� ำจัดได้ 4,410 ตัน คิดเป็นค่าใช้จ่ายจากการก� ำจัดของเสียที่ลดได้ 14.6 ล้านบาท Green Turnaround Project โครงการซ่อมบำ �รุงที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม
