บริษัทฯ ได้ด� ำเนินโครงการ Community Waste Model ร่วมกับวิสาหกิจชุมชนธนาคารคัดแยกขยะรีไซเคิล ชุมชน วัดชากลูกหญ้า ภายใต้ YOUเทิร์น Platform ซึ่งถือเป็น การบริหารจัดการขยะของชุมชนดังกล่าวให้เป็นชุมชนต้นแบบ ในการบริหารจัดการขยะอย่างครบวงจรจากต้นทางถึงปลายทาง (End to End Waste Management) แห่งแรกในจังหวัด ระยอง โดยจัดตั้งศูนย์รวมการรีไซเคิล (Recycling Hub) ณ ชุมชนวัดชากลูกหญ้า ซึ่งสามารถรวบรวมขยะรีไซเคิลได้ ปริมาณมากกว่า 50,000 กิโลกรัมต่อปี และยังสนับสนุน การจ้างงาน สร้างอาชีพให้กับชุมชน ท� ำให้วิสาหกิจชุมชน มีรายได้มากกว่า 440,000 บาทต่อปี โดยมีแผนที่จะขยาย ผลโครงการฯ ไปยังชุมชนอื่นๆ ต่อไป GC has conducted the Community Waste Model project in collaboration with Wat Chaklukya Community Enterprise for Community Recycling Bank under the YOUTURN Platform. The community’s waste management is the first end-to-end waste management model in Rayong province. A recycling hub has been set up at Wat Chak Luk Ya Community. It has collected more than 50,000 kilograms of recyclable waste per year as well as promoted employment for the community while generating over 440,000 baht per year from the social enterprise. There are also further plans to extend the success of this project to other communities.
