Therefore, stringent and continuous measures to reduce risks from the pandemic are critical to protect our business operations amid the high infection rates in Thailand and around the world due to the mutation of the virus and limited vaccination. • Establish the structure of a working team according to the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and appoint the COVID-19 Prevention and Control Committee to determine preventive guidelines and measures in accordance with the rapidly changing situation by closely monitoring the pandemic situation, reporting the progress of measure implementation to the management, and revising preventive measures to correspond with the situation. • Implement the digital system to report and monitor employees’ health condition, travel, and vaccination to provide prompt screening, precautions and prevention of the spread of COVID-19. • Establ ish a Lock Up measure for employees associated with GC’s critical production processes and increase strict hygiene practices for employees under “Lock Up” as well as prevent infection within the same shift and across shifts in the same plant. • As a consequence of the global economic slowdown and disruption of economic activities across many countries due to the COVID-19 pandemic, demand for petroleum and petrochemical has decreased, thus impacting directly on GC’s revenues. • With regards to business continuity along the supply chain, the COVID-19 pandemic may lead to the disruption of GC’s business and key activities, such as production, project construction, financial transactions, and trading, etc. Business as Usual Risk Factors COVID-19 Pandemic Risk Business Impacts Business as Usual Risk Factors Mitigation Measures • Implement Work from Home (WFH) protocols to allow as much as 100 percent of office employees to work remotely as well as other preventive measures to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission among employees and the spread of COVID-19 in the office.
