The Thailand Corporate Excellence Awards 2020, initiated by the Thailand Management Association (TMA) in partnership with Sasin Graduate Institute of Business, are given to companies that drive sustainability in their operations and contribute to increased capabilities and competitiveness at the corporate and national levels. On November 26, 2020, Mrs. Pilasphan Udomjarumanee, Senior Vice President, Corporate Secretary and Legal, GC received the Thailand Corporate Excellence Award 2020 for Excellence in Sustainable Development from Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha at the Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok.

This award reflects GC’s commitment to operating its business with a focus on sustainability, which provides a shared purpose and is one of the company’s key strategies. The company has further pledged to increase awareness among all executives and employees through sustainability policies and frameworks that meet international principles. GC is also widely recognized as one of the first companies in Thailand to have applied the circular economy in its business operations adding value to stakeholders throughout the supply chain and becoming a sustainable company.
