GC donates “Greater Care by GC” red waste bags, bins and sets of personal protective equipment to help mitigate the third wave of COVID-19

GC has always prioritized health safety and sanitation. Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020 through to the current third wave, GC has continued to support and create a better understanding of infectious waste separation in the greater Bangkok area, in addition to providing personal protective equipment (PPE) and a wide range of useful products to prevent the spread of the virus to date.

On May 18, 2021, Dr. Kongkrapan Intarajang, Chief Executive Officer, together with Miss Pattaralada Sa-Ngasang, Executive Vice President - Finance and Accounting, and Dr. Chaya Chandavasu, Senior Vice President, Sustainability and Corporate Branding, donated red bags and red bins as part of the “How to Yeak… How to Manage Infectious Waste” project and sets of “Greater Care by GC” branded PPE.

Admiral Chatchai Srivorakan, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy, received 15,000 red waste bags for infectious waste made from InnoPlus’s premium quality plastic which is both durable and moisture proof with a carbon label certification, 150 120-liter red waste bins operated by a foot pedal to avoid hand contact as part of the “How to Yeak… How to Manage Infectious Waste” project along with 15,000 sets of medial gowns made from PE plastic resins and 500 sets of coveralls which were delivered to medical personnel for use in field hospitals under the supervision of the Royal Thai Navy at the Royal Thai Navy Headquarters Building (Former Royal Palace).

Assoc. Prof. Visit Vamvanit, Director of Siriraj Hospital, received the 10,000 sets of medical gowns made from PE plastic resins and 500 sets of coveralls to protect medical personnel and reduce the risk of contracting COVID-19 as they continue to perform their duties during this third wave, at the Public Relations Hall, Administration Building, 1st Floor, Siriraj Hospital.
