May 28, 2020 – PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC), led by Dr. Kongkrapan Intarajang, Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Chaya Chandavasu, Senior Vice President, Sustainability and Corporate Branding, and GC executives together with Mr. Kamolnai Chaixanien, Senior Vice President, Thai Beverage Public Company Limited., Ms. Orathai Poonsup, Managing Director, Thai Beverage Recycle Company Limited, and Mr. Setha Thavisri, Assistant Managing Director, Pan International (Thailand) Co., Ltd., teamed up to provide a total of 6,500 liters of alcohol gel sanitizer, under the GelCo brand, to Priest Hospital, Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital, and Pranangklao Hospital in Bangkok. This contribution will help prevent and reduce the risk of medical professionals contracting COVID-19 during their operations.

GC provided the disinfectant liquid, consisting of triethanolamine (TEA), for which GC is the sole manufacturer in Thailand, and pharmaceutical-grade glycerine, which helps reduce the need for imports, while ThaiBev provided the alcohol necessary to produce the 72% alcohol gel.
