SANSIRI x GC TO BUILD THAILAND’S FIRST ‘GREEN SOCIETY’ BOLSTERING ITS LEADERSHIP IN CIRCULAR LIVING
Sansiri, one of Thailand’s leading real estate developers, and GC, a leading chemical company for better living, announce their partnership to build ‘Green Society’ for the first time in Thailand. This one-of-a-kind collaboration will lead to a creation of sustainable furniture made through chemical innovation that will be used in real life inside real estate projects.
(9 July 2019) Bangkok – Sansiri Public Company Limited and PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited set new bar in terms of how a company can be more responsible to the environment by building “Green Society” for the first time in Thailand. Through the concept of ‘circular economy’, the partnership between Sansiri and GC together with other business partners will lead to the creation of sustainable furniture to be used in Sansiri’s real estate projects. It is a vision that the two partners share as they are committed to developing sustainable products together.

The ‘Green Society’ we want to create will start with Sansiri x GC: Fulfill Your Living Through Innovation, a new project we have collaborated with PASAYA and SB Furniture to build environmentally-friendly furniture to be displayed inside 32 real estate projects by Sansiri. It will help reduce as much as 664 kilograms of CO2 or equivalent to 74 tons of trees in the first phase of the project.”

“Through our shared vision, the partnership between GC and Sansiri will lead to the creation of performance and durable products like water tank made from GC’s high-quality plastic pellets, non-VOC solvent for decorative paint suitable for indoor and outdoor use, construction materials like wood composite and furnishing products made from recycled plastic for indoor and outdoor use. Moreover, GC also brings recycled polyester from Upcycling by GC project to display in Sansiri show unit which will also have bioplastic utensils that are biodegradable,” added Mr.Patiparn.
Sansiri x GC: Fulfill Your Living Through Innovation project by Sansiri and GC is initiated from shared vision and business goal that focuses on sustainability, natural resources reduction and care for environment. It is their commitment to create better quality of lives for Thai people. The project will start by displaying furniture made from innovative upcycling process inside show units of 32 real estate projects by Sansiri. These projects, built under the concept of Green & Well-Being, include Burasiri Ratchaphruek – 345 and THE LINE Phahonyothin Park. And soon it will be displayed at SIRI HOUSE Soi Somkid, Bangkok’s newest lifestyle and cultural hub by Sansiri; and THE CLOUD, a new lifestyle space with a concept of ‘A Healthy Leisure Space’ on 3rd floor of Siam Paragon..
