June 4, 2020 – Dr. Chaya Chandavasu, Senior Vice President, Sustainability and Corporate Branding, GC, together with Mr. Setha Thavisri, Assistant Managing Director, Pan International (Thailand) Co., Ltd., teamed up to provide 1,500 liters of alcohol gel sanitizer, under the GelCo brand, to Dr. Vipat Charoensiriwat, Department of Family Medicine, Lerdsin Hospital, and his team. This contribution will help prevent and reduce the risk of medical professionals contracting COVID-19 during their operations.

GC provided the disinfectant liquid, consisting of triethanolamine (TEA), for which GC is the sole manufacturer in Thailand, and pharmaceutical-grade glycerine, which helps reduce the need for imports, while ThaiBev provided the alcohol necessary to produce the 72% alcohol gel.
