The implementation of projects to develop the fishing profession for fishing groups from 2013-2023.

Along a 120-kilometer coastal area in Klaeng, Mueang, and Ban Chang Districts, in collaboration with the Rayong Fisheries Department, the Office of Marine and Coastal Resources Management, and small-scale fishing groups in Rayong Province.

PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC) emphasizes the importance of human rights, the development of fishing professions, and the conservation of natural marine resources in Rayong Province. This commitment is ongoing, as GC collaborates with the Rayong Fisheries Department and local small-scale fishing groups in the areas around GC's factory perimeters. These groups include the Community Enterprise Fisheries Association of Small-Scale Fishing Villages in Mueang and Ban Chang districts, which have undertaken various projects to support the conservation of marine and beach resources. These projects include seagrass and mangrove planting, releasing aquatic species, setting up crab and black crab banks, and beach garbage collection.

Since 2013, GC has expanded its operations under the "Fishing Group Development" project, working with small-scale fishing groups in Rayong Province along the coastal areas of the province, covering a distance of 120 kilometers. The project includes small-scale fishing groups in three districts: Mueang, Klaeng, and Ban Chang. There are a total of 35 small-scale fishing groups in Rayong Province out of a total of 56 groups participating in various projects. These projects include 12 projects such as seagrass and mangrove planting, crab and black crab banks, releasing aquatic species, cultivating seaweed, reforestation along the riverbank, used oil banks, fisheries vocational development learning centers, equipment repair and fishing gear projects, clam banks, aquatic animal banks (fish, squid), and aquatic animal processing projects. The objectives are to jointly conserve and restore marine resources to promote biodiversity, enhance marine productivity in Rayong coastal areas, increase marine species, and increase the income of fishermen."
