Khun Supattanapong Punmeechaow, President & Chief Executive Officer , PTT Global Chemical PCL, participated in the opening ceremony of the seminar featuring the game-changing technology called ‘Blockchain’, hosted by Khun Ruechukorn Siriyothin, Deputy Governor - Financial Stability, Bank of Thailand and Khun Pipit Anakenithi, Managing Director, Kasikorn Bank. On this occasion, Khun Duangkamol Setthanung, Executive Vice President – Finance and Accounting and Khun Narongchai Pisutpunya, Managing Director, PTT Polymer Marketing Co., Ltd. (PTTPM) also served as co-speakers on the topic “Enterprise LG on Blockchain with the Challenge of New Innovation”, together with executives from Bank of Thailand, Kasikorn Bank, Provincial Electricity Authority and Metropolitan Electricity Authority. Blockchain is a new technology that will enhance the business operations in terms of electronic letter of guarantee on the blockchain system that has been developed and put to use for the first time in the world by Kasikorn Bank in order to uplift the effectiveness of the business sector and improve the country’s competitiveness. The seminar was held on July 19, 2017 at Intercontinental Hotel, Bangkok.
