A lifestyle trend that is changing the world expands to universities with an upcycled fashion polo shirt

To promote the “Circular Living” concept to a wider audience and build on its “Upcycling the Oceans, Thailand” project, PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited, or GC, teamed up with Thammasat University’s Cheer Club to produce a special-edition polo shirt for its cheer staff members to wear during the 73rd TU-CU (Thammasat University - Chulalongkorn University) traditional football match that took place on February 9, 2019. The polo shirts, available in black, grey, or turquoise, were each made from 12 PET plastic bottles collected from Rayong’s beaches and seas by the community, volunteers, a diving club, tourists, and other organizations, all of which wanted to be a part of making the world more beautifully sustainable.

As a petrochemical manufacturer, GC is a key driver in expanding awareness of upcycling by encouraging people to integrate Circular Living into their daily lives. Circular Living offers benefits that provide endless happiness to all. Through these efforts, GC will reach its goal of being a sustainable company that delivers on our brand promise of chemistry for better living.
