GC Joins Force with Public, Private Sectors and Khung Bang Krachao Community, Enhancing Quality of Lives and Environment in Response to the Royal Guidance 'OUR Khung Bang Krachao' Project

Dr. Kongkrapan Intarajang, Chief Operating Officer – Upstream Petrochemical Business, PTT Global Chemical or GC, participated in the opening ceremony of OUR Khung Bang Krachao project, with Dr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Secretary General of Chaipattana Foundation, as the Chairman of the committee supervising the development works in Khung Bang Krachao area towards sustainability, serving as the guest of honor delivering the opening speech. On this occasion, Khun Natthanun Sirirak, Business Development Manager and Khun Apichaya Dechkraiwan, CSR Development Program Manager, participating in the ceremony.

OUR Khung Bang Krachao project is a social collaboration with collective impact, with the aim of driving green economic development or green area economic development that helps generate income and enhances the local way of life with tangible outcomes within a 5-year period. The execution is driven via 6 key dimensions; 1) Green Area Development 2) Water Management and Erosion 3) Waste Management 4) Career Promotion 5) Tourism Promotion and 6) Youth and Educational Development. In this regard, GC is the champion in waste management, aiming to minimize waste problems according to the Circular Economy concept and to process recycled waste with value-added features and turn them into products, starting from Chak Daeng Temple as the pioneering area of the project and also serving as the community waste management learning center.
