SMART Office, new office ideas in the 'new normal' era that employees love

Share:

During the COVID-19 pandemic, many companies allowed their employees to work from home but as the situation gradually improved, they returned to their offices. Companies have to maintain productivity together with employee safety through social distancing measures. The Smart Office concept is a solution providing a new way of working that can satisfy employees and allow them to continue to work efficiently during the new normal.

Creating a Smart Office for the New Normal by Mapiq

Mapiq, a software development company from the Netherlands, plans and builds smart offices for leading companies using creative technologies, contributing to workplaces where employees love to work. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mapiq worked hard to find a way to ensure that employees were confident about returning to work in their offices with employee safety being the top priority. They developed a technology to increase the productivity of employees under the new way of working.

Mapiq developed the “Building Occupancy Display” app for working in the post-COVID-19 era. The display shows the occupancy of the office space in the building, and which floors are busy or available to help employees find available workplaces more quickly. In addition, it can analyze usage behavior of the area helping employees to maintain proper distancing.
